We have a small administrative team that shares responsibility for accounting, project administration, purchasing, client invoicing, financial and tax planning, management of benefit program, human resources and care of our clients, teams and facilities. This position is being created to allow full coverage with backup in all of these areas, to improve project management/administration and to further organizational development. Most accounting, human resources and administrative functions are completed in-house. Design Central uses an outside CPA firm to review financial statements and advise on financial and tax planning. We use ADP for payroll and 401K administration; all other day-to-day operations are performed by our administrative team.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and energetic contributor with a positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for the team and our clients. This position requires extensive knowledge of general accounting and business practices, discretion and good judgment, effective communication skills, flexibility and commitment to a collaborative approach to planning, problem-solving and working. A degree in accounting and at least 2 years of accounting experience are required. Knowledge and experience in human resources and benefit administration is recommended but is not needed to apply.

Design Central is seeking a Product/Industrial Designer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. If you are passionate about generating creative design across a wide range of clients both individually and within a team dynamic, this position is for you. This key role encompasses developing design solutions, teaming with other members, and coordinating with clients through positive work dynamics.
The ideal individual will have an eye for good design, and the skill to bring design concepts to life through effective sketching, CAD development, and physical prototyping. The role requires in-person collaboration with all Design Central team members.
