New Swiffer PowerMop pads utilize expertise in nonwovens

Procter & Gamble is always looking to deliver the best cleaning experience to customers, and that shows in their newly updated Swiffer PowerMop pads. According to a statement from P&G, “As Swiffer’s most advanced floor‑cleaning tool yet, the improved Swiffer PowerMop pads tackle every day and stubborn messes faster than before.”

Design Central partnered with P&G to explore ways to visually represent the efficacy of the new PowerMop pads through various graphic and tactile representations. With decades of experience in prototyping and nonwovens, Design Central was an ideal partner for this project.

The upgraded pads feature a new substrate and thousands of micro-scrubbing dots, which are designed to pull up even the most stubborn messes. The pads themselves are more absorbent than previous versions, and the 10,000+ micro-scrubbing dots offer a deeper clean that you can see and feel.

Design Central is always happy to use our extensive experience in nonwovens to tackle unique and challenging problems for our clients.

We are happy to help companies turn ideas into reality, whether that means assisting with specific aspects of a project or driving the process from start to finish. Interested in working on a design project with Design Central? Contact Tim Friar: [email protected]
