Motorola acquires Avigilon

Motorola acquired Canadian video surveillance company Avigilon for $1 billion, one of just three acquisitions of this size to take place in Canada over the last decade. Avigilon's solutions have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers. Design Central worked with Avigilon in developing the visual brand language for their H4 Edge Solution camera line and ACC Edge Solution recorders and appliances. The clean, sophisticated design language has been successfully translated across multiple product platforms; it differentiates the products from competitors and communicates the professional, high-tech technology associated with the Avigilon brand.
